You are skilled with starting a fire using Flint and steel, saddling and hobbling a horse and survival skills (edible berries, shoots, roots and mushrooms, basic snares for rabbits, skinning and cooking animals), and a good sense of direction, mapping. You don't get lost. Gain +1 permanent maximum HP. Feed yourself plus 3 others per rank (total 4, 7, 10 people with a watch worth of foraging), half this if on the move.

Highly competent. For each level you gain, reroll ALL your hit point dice once. If the sum of this is greater than your prior sum, keep the new total. Gain +1 permanent maximum HP.

Reroll any 1's on hit point rolls, but only once per level. This stacks with True grit (2), and Adventurer (2) and Survivor(3) so on a level gain if you had all three, you would roll 2 dice- if either are ones, you re-roll those dice again. If they are under half the maximum dice roll, you add one. This is your Hit points gained for the level. You then roll all your hit dice, and re-roll all ones, and add 1 to any dice rolled under half maximum. If this is higher than your previous total, it becomes your new total. Gain +1 permanent maximum HP.
