You may attempt to deflect arrows with your weapon (normally impossible).

If you successfully deflect a melee attack by 2 or more, you may riposte as a reaction. Execute a melee attack against your opponent. If you deflect a melee attack by 4 or more you may riposte as a free action.

You may deflect 'bolt' type spells, this typically is not healthy for the item doing the deflecting and degrades one level. Gain +1 on deflects with weapons.
