Proficient with heavy armour. You modify your armour and you can sleep in your armour. It is comfortable and warm. Reduce awry chance in heavy armour by 1. All penalties for non-proficiency are removed.

You have the ability to move your armour to the most effective place-with a successful SDF save you use the highest damage reduction your armour has, regardless of weapon type. If struck a blow that would degrade your armour, you may attempt to use a reaction to avoid the degradation. Reduce awry chance in heavy armour by 1.

Irresistible force. As a reaction, you may choose to forgo attempting a deflect, and take the hit on your armours strong point instead. The armour absorbs twice the damage, but degrades your armour a level. This uses your reaction and can only be done once per round. Reduce awry chance in heavy armour by an additional 1. Reduce encumbrance of heavy armour by 1.
You are trained in the use of heavy armour.
Effect
You can wear heavy armour without suffering non-proficiency penalties.
Notes
Heavy armour gives attackers +2 to hit you (even when proficient). Non-proficiency adds an additional +1.
Non-Proficiency Penalties
Without this ability, wearing heavy armour causes:
- -1 to movement (in addition to armour's movement penalty)
- -1 to hit with attacks
- All movement provokes reaction
- Attackers gain +1 to hit you (total +3 with heavy armour's base penalty)
