Masters of combat who live for the thrill of battle. Warwagers are the frontline fighters, wielding devastating weapons and wearing heavy armor. They have more abilities available to them, but fewer ability ranks than other classes.

Weapon Training

Warwagers have training in all weapons. They begin with Weapon Mastery rank 2 as a bonus ability, gaining +1 to hit and increasing base damage step by 1 when wielding any weapon.

Warwagers also gain +1 to deflects when using a shield.

On levels 2, 3, 5, 6, 8, 9, 11, 12, 14, 15, 17, 18, 20, 21, 23, 24, 26, 27, 29, 30, 32, 33, 35, and 36, Warwagers gain a free new Weapon Mastery ability or may rank an existing Weapon Mastery ability.

For every weapon mastery ability the Warwager ranks, their base Weapon Mastery also ranks. For example, if the Warwager chooses or ranks Axe Master, their base Weapon Mastery also increases by one rank. Base Weapon Mastery can only rank once per level.

Armour Training

Warwagers have proficiency in all armour. At 1st level they gain Light Armour Proficiency rank 1, Medium Armour Proficiency rank 1, and Heavy Armour Proficiency rank 1 as free class abilities.

Attunement

Warwagers can attune a weapon or armour with a ritual taking D3 watches. They may instead take D6 damage per bonus of the weapon or armour to attune immediately without making a MAG check.

Combat Prowess

Warwagers excel at direct confrontation. Their high hit die and weapon mastery make them the most durable and deadly combatants.

Harrier

At 5th level, if a Warwager damages an opponent in melee and that opponent chooses to attack someone else, the opponent takes -1 on their attack rolls.

This penalty increases to -2 at 15th level and -3 at 25th level.

Punishing Reactions

If a Warwager makes an attack because a target provokes reaction, the Warwager gains +1 on the attack roll. On a hit, the opponent's next square of movement costs 2.

Check Bonuses

On 3rd, 6th, and 9th levels, the Warwager can allocate 1 additional bonus to a check. This cannot be allocated to their best check, and cannot be allocated to a check they have already improved.

Skill References

Warwager skills and abilities use alphabetical references for appendix use. These take the form of a three-letter code or shorter and assist quick referencing for abbreviated statistics.

Highly Trained

Highly Trained (W1) lets the Warwager choose weapon groupings at ranks 3, 6, and 9. They gain +1H and +1D with all weapons in the chosen grouping.

Playstyle

If you want to be as tough as possible and stand at the front of every fight, the Warwager is your class. They have the highest hit die and the most weapon mastery progression.
