The equipment notes treat edible creatures as a possible food source. A rough rule is 1 ration per kilogram, or about 1 ration per 2 pounds, of edible creature.

Supply Tracking
Track rations, water, and ammunition totals. Ammunition can often be recovered after a fight, but campaigns with dwindling supplies may reduce ammunition after encounters.
