You perform a long ritual where you curse all living things within a particular radius. If you continue the ritual for long enough, the affected radius can be enormous; the whole world if you are high enough level. The smaller the area; the faster you can drain HP. The size of an arena you can draw 1HP per round. A city 1HP per hour, a large swath of land 1HP a week and a world 1HP per year. You can hasten the effects by limiting its scope: If your targets must have been dead previously then you could drain 1HP per day over the world for instance. Each affected individual gains a LIF check to resist each HP drain but must roll again the next time the drain occurs.
