Whispering reed

Primary action. Provokes. One brittle organic item. Duration: until broken. You cast this spell on something organic that has a brittle element (bamboo shoot, reed, small bones etc), and whisper a message up to 12 words long. When the bearer of the reed breaks it, your message is repeated in a whisper emanating from each fragment of the item, exactly as you stated it. Typically you need to break the item by your ear to hear the message clearly. It does not repeat. If you invoke this magic again, the effect on the prior reed vanishes.
